Run VI (Special Edition) on 2 PCs? Licence ok?

Hi there,

I'm wondering if I buy the Special Edition (or any VI in that matter), can you use it simultaneously on multiple computers?

Is there any limit?

If not, is it possible to buy an extra-licence ? At what price?

vinc, you can split several collections across multiple computers but you cannot *duplicate* the license for one collection to a second machine.
for the larger collections (chamber, appassionata) there are options which we offer on a case-by-case basis.

Hi Christian,

Just to be sure I understand.

I'm certainly going to buy the Special Edition to start with.

I'd like to use the library on 2 PCs at the same time. I wouldn't want to split the library just to have more flexibility with the selection of samples I'll need in a particular project.

I've been using EWQSL for some time now that include authorization to use the library on 2 PCs.

I just want to make sure I'll be able to do the same.

I'll try to contact you with AIM but I leave in Vancouver, BC so chances are you might be gone when I get up [:)]

vinco, for Vienna Instruments libraries the authorization (license) sits and depends on the ViennaKey, so there is no option to authorize (or unauthorize) another machine, just to add another license to a second key.

vinco, whereas you can contact our sales department for such atype of license (price reduced site license) for the Symphonic Cube, VSL currently does not offer this for the Special Edition.
