    I just bought the Vienna SE so I have been looking at all the tutorials, so forgive I am new to this but it seems that in the tutorials there are lots of patches and sample that I don't have like the performance patches and matrixes for the universal mode. Hope I am Making sense.

    Hi and welcome theantony,

    our tutorials were designed for the "big" collections, that contain way more articulations than the Special Edition.

    The functionality of the Vienna Instruments always remains the same, and the examples in the tutorials are just that: examples of what you can do with the flexibility of the Vienna Instruments. The more articulations available, the better of course!

    The Universal Mode is a Matrix that needs more articulations than are contained in the Special Edition, and is also only available with the Extended Library of the more specific instruments collections. There is a discussion about this to be found here.
