I have to buy the Vienna Symphonic Library and computer dedicated to the VSL. At first, I have to work with : The Vienna solo strings (full), Woodwind I (full), and Boshendorfer Imperial.
Actually, I am working with Finale 2004 for the scores play by the musicians and I use the midifile (from Finale 2004) to record the keyboards with a digidesign 001 pro-tools in an old Mac G3 bleue and white.
My questions are :
1- If I use only one computer, is it possible to work/play with the Vienna Library and record the sound of the vienna with the pro-tools system "digidesign Mbox 2 pro", in the same time and without lose some quality !
2- Which computer(s) is (are) the best for that job ?
3- Which soft do you recommand to drive the Vienna Symphonic Library, I don't play keyboard, I'm composer and when It's necessary, I write every note and every event of an instrument.
