    So after several weeks of trying to get Special Edition working with DP4.61, I have given up and am ordering my upgrade to 5.11. I know I know I should do it anyhow - just thought it SHOULD work, since that's what the literature says.

    I was working on a piece with my lovely new VSL VI SE this morning and DP5.11 basically closed without warning. I tried saving the file a couple times but a window came up that said there was a unattached file extension. It really pissed me off since I was working on a Japanese-styled piece for flute, taiko drums, clarinet, celeste and bariton sax.....grrr. I'm going back to Logic Express 7.2

    Did you ever try rebuilding the directory with DiskWarrior? I have DP 4.6.1 and VI works as a plugin with DP 4.6.1 without problems. Forgive me, but I can't remember what computer you are working on - - i.e. is it a PPC or Intel Mac?
