    Hello,

    i just wanted to know if i can use my dongle for Logic Pro 7.1 for the authorisation of VSL special Edition. I just purchased the product 3 weeks ago and seemingly i am not able to get an original VSL key (via Thomann in Germany)

    welcome goldendawn,
    unfortunately not - the dongle for logic is an XSkey (looks similar but different authorization method), but you can use any syncrosoft USB protection device like á steinberg key.
    the only thing you will be missing opposed to an original ViennaKey is the 180 starts demo mode #1 licens, but for this we can offer a solution - email me or support@vsl.co.at
