    Hello !
    Have you got the Vienna Special Edition ?
    If you have it, maybe you could help me before I buy it.
    I need to know all detailed articulations of the Violin Solo and the Clarinet Solo
    ie: violin solo_detache_long_vib.
    It's very important. So please, could you write them ?

    Thank you very much for you answer. All articulations on this page are not enough detailed (for me) ; for example I don't see
    if the detache is with or without vibrato.
    Could you answer more precisely only for violon solo and clarinet solo ?

    I'm am not fluent with using them yet, because I just got them yesterday and they were my first VSL purchase. But here are articulations for the special edition.

    Solo Violin: Staccato, Detache, sustain, sforzato, legato, portamento, tremolo, pizzicato.
    Sustain, Legato, Detache, portamento, and sforzato all have vibrato on them.

    Solo Clarinet: Staccato, sustain, sfozato, legato, legato-sus. Same for Eb and Bb clarinet, but you only get the Eb if you get the extended library.

    It's ok for the vibrato but for the violin solo, have you : detache short , detache long, performance legato, performance legato fast, performance repetition slow and fast ?

    All it says is detache. I don't have anything else to measure it against. It sounds like it holds out for about 3/4 second maybe.

    Hi Paul,

    the string detaches (except bass) are with vibrato, their length (according to sample names, didn't try to measure it) roughly a quarter note at 120 BPM.
