    I have not upgraded to the new Vienna Instruments Saxes, but I have the old version. Would this version work on a Mac Intel (Mini) as VST? Or is the whole thing incompatible somehow? Sorry I just can't remember what one can still do with the older libraries, pre-VI.

    tom, this depends also on the format you have decided to use ... using exs - no, using giga - only with GVI, using kontakt or halion - yes.
    i should add using the performance tool with GVI or HALion is not ... simple.

    I forgot completely...yes, those were GIGA sample format because I used a PC at the time....[;)] Oh well....
    I'm using Plogue Biddle on a second Mac for samples...I suppose it would all be easier just to upgrade....thanks!

    i just notice you _have_ a sidelicense for kontakt ... kontakt2 is using scripted programs, so you could give it a try ...
