Appassionata strings and Layering.

Hi to all,

I have the full Appassionata strings, and in listening to Jay's demo's, I'd really like to achieve the sound that Jay achieves from layering solo strings with the string section.

So, as there is not too much room left on my hard drive at the moment - I have the Opus Bundle, plus the orchestral strings 1/2 [standard] and the full Appassionata strings, I am thinking of purchasing the Horizon Solo Strings.
I am just wondering though, because the Appassionata are 24 bit, and the Solo strings are 16 bit, would there be any problem with layering, in that there is a difference in the bit samples? I mean, is it going to be noticeable?

just wonder why you not buy the solo VSL instead on the horizon? horizon is aged product
I bought the horizon solo strings 2 years ago, I then get extended library for only 35$
