first of all sorry for my english.
I'm a new user of VI special Edition, my setup is Mac g5 dual 2,7 Ghz 4 GB ram an internal HD Raptor dedicated to Vienna and Logic Pro 7.1.1 Mac Os 10.4.6.
Well, i started with manuals an video and was all ok ,is very easy to use VI interface.
In standalone way i made some patch using 4 or 6cell (with my preferred articulations), and after i saved in matrix view in my custom data folder.
For each i nstrument,in perform assign, i clicked on velocity assign led and with the right mouse key i've assigned my modulation control of the keyboard.
Up to now all ok.
After i open Logic and i create 16 istances of Vienna with programs before saved.
Now when i try to play on by one the instruments happens this great problem:
when i play and i use my modulation controller on the keyboard to change velocity, after a few seconds all the instruments goes in tilt, i can hear only a part of the sample (i think that charged in memory), no more loop sustain, nothing!!!!
And when i open the VI plug (always in Logic) and i try to reload that matrix, is impossible because appear a window with a lot of lines saying:
ERROR:
Cannot open/ 100 Special Edition string wavs/13 orchestralstring/Kb-6-L_sus_f/Kb-6-L_sus_f_A1
this for all notes and for all audioinstrument (VI).
The modulation wheel does this problem!
System performance is only at half of the power.
After i made an experiment, i loaded the same setup without X-fade asiign and all the problems disappeared:
But i need the X-fade controls, what have i do?
