    I have a Syncrosoft key I purchased for CSR, which is no longer needed. Will that key work with Special Edition?

    yes - you can use any syncrosoft USB protection device.
    difference to an *original* ViennaKey is just, that you will miss the 180 demo starts and had to request a demo license (eg. for extended if you don't purchase it) seperately
