  • vienna key form 1 to 2 PC

I now have a ViennaKey with Vienna Strings VI licenced on it.
I'm going to buy the special edition and I will use the same Viennakey on the same PC.

I know that just 1 PC is not enough so I will buy a second PC at the end of the year 2007.

May I then split strings on the first PC and Special Ed. on the second PC using a second Viennakey? Will you give me the licence? I know that from your viewing point that could be a second usage of the same samples.
How does it works in these cases?

  • Each collection can be used on a dedicated PC.
Strings one PC, Special Edtion a second one, no problem.

You only would need two different keys.
Do you can transfe (whenever you want) one of the two licences to the new key.

You will have two "Collections", therefore two separate licences. Two separate dongles is therefore OK.

  • Estimated:

Buy the Vienna Ensamble Pro 5 that comes with the Epic Orquesta and buy a Vienna Key.

What I need to know is: can I install the program in two different systems, provided that I have a dualbot with windows and Mac? Or I have to buy another Vienna Key.

From already thank you very much for his comments.

  • You can install on as many systems as you like. However, the software will only work on a system that has both an eLicenser attached and the requisite licence. So in your case you could use VEP on up to three computers at the same time, with a dongle and licence on each, but you could only use the Epic Orchestra on one computer, as you only have one license for that. It makes no difference whether you use Windows or OSX.

  • Thank you very much for your answer DG !!
So you can safely use the VEP with Epica Orchestra on both operating systems on the same computer ? Regards Lucas
