  • VI on Intel Mac

Hi! my new mac intel is now in my studio.
The problem is: my vienna symphonic cube is not avaiable!
after downloading the newest software and installing everything!

Coud it be, that i have to install all the instruments from dvd?
i did copy the files from my old hard drives to the new one.
    could that be the fault?

    thanks! Manu

    welcome manustix,
the magic word is: directory manager
    - make sure the folder you are using for custom data has read & write privileges
    - use preferrably drag&drop method
    - reboot or at least logoff/logon after adding filepaths

  • Another Problem ist, when i try to start "Syncrosoft Licenz Center" It trys to initialize, but the is everything, that happens! It stays at this Startup Window!
I just downloadet the newest Version!

    Thanks!

  • this sounds like your system is somehow in disorder ... try to verify and if neccessary repair permissions on your system drive.
in case you are working with various user-accounts (on your system) make sure you installed it using the same account you logon when you launch the application.

i'd recommend to reboot everytime before updating something (and of course not launch the application before applying the update) - OS X keeps running processes in memory and we've heard about some cases of serious screw-ups when updating either a running application or an application which still had some related active processes.
