    Herb mentioned an update was on its way which would take care of the stuck note problem. Any progress. I love the perf tool , but the stuck notes drive me nuts.

    could you pls give a brief description on when the stuck notes will occur and what sequencer you are using. Stuck notes occur for various reasons depending on key strokes used to control sequencing. In order to keeping track of all the MIDI events there are quite numerous approaches to alleviate this problem, but they can get the PT misbehave.

    Anyway, I would need feedback on this matter as much as possible following this guideline
    1) which sequencer do you use
    2) can you make stuck notes "on purpose" - then
    3) which actions do you take

    That would help to nail down the problem quickly.

    Tho I am working on v 2 I would post an update of v 1.

    I can give you details on my problems...

    OS 10.2.6, Logic 6.3.1. Dual 1.42 G4, 1.5 gig RAM. I have two setups which are identical, except for the MIDI and audio interfaces. Setup 1 uses a Tascam US224 for audio and MIDI (my home setup). At the studio I use a Hammerfall 9652 and MOTU MIDI Express XT USB.

    For me, what happens is that when the legato tool gets stuck, it will only play the legato sample - or the ending note of the legato interval. Even if I begin a phrase with a note, you can hear the legato movement from whichever note I last played. I have to reset the legato tool for it to return to normal behavior.

    I'm using Logic 6 on mac. I have VSL loaded across 2 giga pcs. Basically whenever I play a significant number of notes or mulitple p leg instruments I get stuck notes frequently -meaning the last note I play will sound until the sample runs its course. If I play another note it will play the legato sample into that note and stick again. It is not hard to replicate this behavior. If I play around with a flute sample rapidly it will eventually stick. I've tried only loading 4 instruments per perf tool port as was suggested on this forum - that did not solve the problem. To rectify the problem I select a non perf leg inst. track in my sequencer, hold down a note, switch to the stuck p leg track and release it. This note off message ends the problem temporarily. Please let me know if you need any more specifics.

    Hey Colin -

    I have the EXACT same problem. The only way I've found to fix the problem for a significant amount of time is to quit the performace tool and reload it with an alias.

    This is a BIG drag, and I hope it will be solved soon!

    I am experiencing the same thing -

    Os 10.2.6 - Logic 6.3.1, dual 1.25 mac running EXS - stuck notes on legato tools

    I should clarify I am sequencing using Logic 6 on a Mac, but am running VSL on 2 gigastudio pcs. The problems I'm having are with the pc version of the performance tool.
