Anyone thinks it's a good idea ? [:)]

Yes.
BTW, have you checked physical modelling? I wonder why this tecnology has never been developed fully to create realistic wind instruments. Maybe yamaha has a very restrictive patent?
Imagine a project the size of VSL, but based on physical modelling. something that offers lots of voices (computing power would not be an issue. most giga user have several comps. dedicated -me included-)...

I'd spend time actually recording my breathing in time with brass/wind pieces if I needed. Placing breath samples in the correct place would be pretty time consuming to get it "right" and a "tool" to do it would need to have some sort of read ahead, so it wouldnt work in real time.
tho samples are always nice [:)] I just dont know if I'd spend time trying to get it "right" using samples

Breathing between notes (phrases) can be important to achieve realism. (Depending on the orchestration and size of the orchestra)
If you are playing with the performance legati, a breath could be inserted, when the tool is triggering a new starting note.
Depth and length of the breath should refer to the pause duration, also simply how much time has the player to breath. Then how long the legato line before was and of course after the pause would be, and which dynamic level is played.
I would say, too complex for a live automatisation. But possible if the tool could analyse a played passage and make afterwards automically adjustments. But that's a complete different story. [[;)]]
Breathing during a note???
Don't understand it.

Circular Breathing, but with video please [:D]
OUT OF TOPIC
After playing a concert a lady came and did ask" you seam to never take a breath when you play, how you do this" My answer:" Oh no problem once in the morning is enough for me... [8-)]
Why do not write about wind controler.... [*-)]:

Hi Herb,
My idea was about layering some breath with the actualy sound. Maybe you can record some breath with nose, some with mouth, [...] just to add more realism in an intimate production. If you do this, I can program a CAL program for Cakewalk Pro Audio / Sonar to add some breath in front of some notes. I will think about it when I will have some time to me [:D]
So, what do you think about it ?
Thank you,

Herb, while you're at it, don't forget the coughing, and the turning of the page....
I'm not even sure myself whether this is a serious post! [[;)]]
