    I may be missing something here, but it appears there is only 1 tempo sampled for the violin runs. I can switch between up and down runs with the mod wheel, but aside from that I can find no other variations. Is this correct?? I'd love to be able to achieve different tempos with the runs. If this is indeed possible, can someone point me to where in the PDF manual I can read about this??

    Hello Colin,

    you didn't miss anything.
    If the gigfile is not labeled with "Perf" it is no performance instrument.

    Our approach was to record fast scales to get typical "random" effetcs in timing and intonation. You can use it like "multiple graces" or mix it with performance legato played lines. If you find the right volume balance you can use this runs for different speeds. Just adding randomness to your real played passages.

    Will future versions offer runs in a few different (slightly slower) tempos? And add runs for the brass perhaps?

    We have tons of scale material labeled as performance scales, and plan to release it on the Symphonic Cube.

    It will be controlable like our other performance tools. But it's so much stuff, so we decided to wait for more potent sampler plattforms.

    Another thing I did before I had VSL was to use a standard run on other libraries (maj or min) which were all at one tempo, but managed to work with it by using vol mutes and vol changes combined with a few staccato or legato notes starting the run, also using plus or minus delay on the sequencer track parameters. It's not perfect I know but does work in a mix situation. (unless you are in pure Adagio mode!)
