    Hi all,

    I was just curious if anyone has tried porting any VSL patches across to Akai format via Giga Translator? Of course I don't expect this to work in the most part due to the complex programming and layering of VSL, but maybe it might work for the odd one shot patches like percussion or marcato strings, runs etc. I have just made the rather painful [:O]ops: move from 12 Akais to 3 x Gigas and obviously would like to utilize the approx 3gb of total sample RAM on the Akais using these excellent samples if possible.

    I don't have any experiences in converting to AKAI, but VSL offers (in the Orchestral Cube) for all instruments "Basic Instruments".

    Here no dimension controllers, Release samples, or crossfades are programmed. It should not be a problem to convert them to AKAI.
