Question on Performance Tool

Hi. I purchased your complete orchestral package which I must say is phenominal but I wanted to know if there was a beta perfomance tool to use for the performance set instruments like legato and repetition. I know that you will be releasing it on the 27th of this month but I would really like to have these options [:)]. The other concern though is that I used the demo legato tool and found that it holds down on the key I press. For example, If I load your flute legato instrument into the first channel of gigastudio and play cubase sx as my sequencer the sound of the flute key will stay going until the end of the sample or until I change a key.....it usually does this after awhile of time.....Is this because it's not completely functional since it's just a Demo legato tool? I am using one computer for gigastudio and cubase sx.

The Legato Tool Demo was primarily designed to give you an impression of how powerful the Legato Mode is, and playing true legato LIVE is one of the key features.

However, as the tool depends on "Note On"+"Note Off" couples, it might occur, that you jump a "Note Off" when playing back from your sequencer, e.g. by jumping the songposition or switching to another MIDI-track, which unfortunately causes this "malfunction". Closing the Performance Tool Demo and opening it again will help...

This, of course, is already fixed in the REAL Performance Tool, and you´ll have a beautiful time with it!

One might add that all professional sequencers have the option to omit Note Off's completely (replacing them with Velocity values of 0 [zero]), simply to save data-bandwidth.

Make sure that your SX _really_ sends Note Off (should be a MIDI Preference).

CORRECTION: Herb told me that our Tool takes care for those Velocity=0 - cases.
