    The website says the demo CD is available for free from the international distributors. Where can I get that? Ilio doesn't seem to have that.

    When I called Ililo about that CD, I was told that it cost ten dollars.

    why would it cost $10 in the US when it's free in europe?

    Ok, I got confused - I guess the "Demo CD" and the "Demo Cube" are the same thing. I just pre-ordered the Demo Cube from Ilio for $10 and they said it should be here by the end of the month.

    As for the cost, it's probably just the double shipping cost (shipping from Europe to US and then from Ilio to me). But I don't care - for 600 MB of samples (including an entire string section) it's worth it.

    Sorry about the confusion. The Demo Cube and the Demo CD are two different items. We quickly decided to produce a single Demo CD as the production of the Demo Cube took some more time than we expected.

    The Demo Cube will hold 2 CD-ROMs with over 600 MB of samples from the Orchestral Cube as well as from the Performance Set, a demo version of the unique Legato Tool including a MIDI template and the corresponding samples, audio demos and lots of multimedia stuff, .pdf manuals and a printed booklet on how to get started quickly. It will be available around Christmas.

    The Demo CD comprises less samples (all of them also included in the Demo Cube), some audio demos and little multimedia content. It is available free of charge as long as stocks last. It can be ordered right now and the reason why even ILIO didn't recently know about it is that we decided so quickly to produce it that we even surprised our international distributors.

    Oh, ok, then I guess what I ordered was the Demo Cube. Well all the better - I'm particularly interested in the legato performance tool and the other demos.

    Nice songs, and more than40 gigas of .gig demos.
    I wonder how the legato tools will work on the Mac, on the demo is for PC (inside gigasampler) only.
