Missing Matrices and Universal Mode Settings
Hello, I recently purchased the Symphonic Cube. I am storing all of my VI samples on an external Lacie Terabyte Hard Drive. While recently using the VI library I opened a project and all of my levels of matrices were gone. I only have some of the level 1 matrices. I no longer seem to have the universal performance option either. I have dumped everything and have done a complete re-installation and upgrade of the VI software as well as the sample libraries. I have also downloaded the most current Syncrosoft license (v. 5.2.20.1). None of this seems to have worked in correcting the problem. I have been on the user forums etc. and have tried everything that I've seen suggested including rescanning and reloading folders into the Directory Manager as well as some of the steps listed above. Have I missed a step in part of my registration process, maybe with the performance tool? I don't know. Can someone please double check my registration info on your end and see if you can help me understand why this might just all of a sudden start happening and what I can do to fix it? I have a: Machine Name: Power Mac G5 Quad Machine Model: PowerMac11,2 CPU Type: PowerPC G5 (1.1) Number Of CPUs: 4 CPU Speed: 2.5 GHz L2 Cache (per CPU): 1 MB Memory: 16 GB Bus Speed: 1.25 GHz Boot ROM Version: 5.2.7f1 Thanks, Best regards Chad

Hi Chad,
and welcome!
I assume that you have registered the Standard Libraries of the Symphonic Cube only, and now that your Demo Code on the Vienna Key doesn´t grant you access to the Extended Libraries of your collections, only Level 1 presets, matrices and patches are showing up.
I will look into your registration info, as soon as I know under which name you registered.
Please send an email with your information to support@vsl.co.at
Best,
Paul

Hi, all:
I just upgraded to VI Special Edition from Horizon Opus1&2, and can't find the Universal Matrices or Modes at all. I did the install in two steps as I didn't have the activation code at first for the Extended Libraries. Is it possible that is the problem? I went through a complete reinstallation of all the sample files from the DVDs thinking that on the first pass the Extended were not copied, but that didn't seem to help.
On the opening screen of the Standalone app the licenses on the left are showing that I have the Solo Strings - Viola L2 (etc), but on the right where the Matrices are listed I can't find anything that looks like the perf_universal as shown in the Tutorial video on U-mode.
I also tried adding every folder I could think of and rescanning from the Directory Manager, but that also didn't help.
Anyone have some more ideas for me to try?
Thanks in advance.. Ken Elias
