  • Switching cells with Control Changes

    Hello,

I'm using VSL SE with Logic 7. I know how to use program changes (101-112) in Logic to select different VI sounds (Matrices), but I'm somehow lost when trying to do the same with control changes to select articulations.

I have found some posts here in the forum about this question, also checked the video tutorials, but something is missing for me because I'm still trying to figure out the whole process.

I think that the difficult part for me is the VI interface.

I would really appreciate it if someone would help me with this and give me an explanation about how can I manage to switch between two articulations (cells), for example from legato strings to pizzicato strings, sending CC's from Logic to VI interface.

    Thank you.

    Hello and welcome Abraham,

you can switch between different articulations by making use of the "Control Edit" Window in the VI interface. You can assign different controlers to switch between articulations, both horizontally and vertically.

Take another look at the first Video Tutorial, Patches and Matrices - an Overview, where this is explained.

    Hope that helps!

    Best,

    Paul
