    Three very good string orchestra pieces have been selected as finalists in the 2007 string adagio composition contest. They are by composers David Sartor, Matthew Quayle and Andrew Lowe Watson.

    These pieces are now being judged by our panel (Mason Bates, Steven Scott Smalley and Laura Frautschi) ... and also by the public at large in order to select a "people's choice" award.
