    Hello,
    i have recently tried to use the Organ for the first time - initially installed on a G5 PowerPC within Logic. The instrument loaded all fine, but while playing, it does crackle and pitchshift (!) from time to time (i love the mellotron sound, but that was not wanted in this case). Since i didn't find out how to fix it, I installed the organ on a PC, WinXP. I ran the plugin within Forte, the samples loaded all fine - but there's no sound when i'm playing (midi is received). If i load e.g. a woodwind patch - voila: it plays (even when loaded into a matrix slot of the organ).
    And to make it even more complicated: when i run the VI standalone, the organ plays (sounds) when using the virtual keyboard, but the plugin won't receive midi (error: "midi device is busy...", tho there's no other application running). This is very annoying...i have no more ideas on that problem.
    Btw, all other VI's (Wood,Brass,Strings etc.) run perfectly on the same machine, standalone and within Forte.
    I would be very very greatful for any help !

    When you use the VI with Forte, can you see all the organ patches and matrices listed in the VI? Let me know and I'll check this on my system. (I use Forte with XP Pro.)

    Hello Christian,

    it is essential that you are using the latest Vienna Instruments version, available here in your user area and the latest Syncrosoft LCC, otherwise the Konzerthaus Organ will not be recognized, as it is a newer collection.
    Could you please post the specs of your G5 (OS, RAM, CPU, audio device....), so that we can look into it?

    Regarding the error message "MIDI device is busy..." on your PC: Please make sure that you have chosen your audio device as standard device for both MIDI and Audio in your Audio settings.

    the latest updates are installed, the licence is recognized by LCC, the Organ patches are all listed in the VI, and they do load.

    What i don't understand is, why e.g. the woodwinds play but the organ does not... so it doesn't seem to be a problem with forte...but standalone the organ plays (besides the midi problem)...
    I'll post the G5 specs later when i'm at work...

    Please go to Preferences in the menu and reassign your 1) Audio Driver 2) Samplerate and 3) MIDI settings. That should help.

    Hi Christian, thanks for clarifying that. If you load a VI organ patch in Forte then play the VI's on-screen keyboard, do you hear any sound?
