    I'd love if VSL would incorporate a simple panner inside their VI, maybe controllable via Midi, but it's not a must. I'm using VI inside Sibelius 5 and it doesn't allow to insert a panning effect VST.

    There are four effects insert busses in SIB5 so you can add a panning programme to each and at least pan a string quartet. Otherwise you have to host your VIs in CHAINER in SIB5.

    Effect slots, yes, but these are parallel, aren't they? Not really suited for panning...
