    I'm looking at purchasing "Overdrive." WIll VI software instruments work with Sonar? Specifically, I'm using Studio ed. 6

    overdrive is a sample library from the horizon series and available for the following samplers: GigaStudio 2.5.x + 3.x), EXS 24 mkII, HALion, Kontakt (1.5.x + 2.x) - if you are sequencing with sonar you will need one of these samples also installed.

    the newer Vienna Instruments work as VST, AU and Stand-alone and wouldn't require a seperate sampler, but unfortunately there is no collection including overdrive so far.
