    Any difference/benefit to use percussion in VI? Or is it better to use it in Giga or Kontakt?

    I'd like to know your experience on that.

    Hi Joe,

    I don't know about Kontakt, but in GigaStudio the main advantage is that the keys with sample associations are displayed on the virtual keyboard.

    With VI, however, you need less keyswitching, and you can play your repetitions without the Performance Tool - and we know how important repetitions are for percussion instruments [[;)]]

    When working with percussion instruments, I make a printout of the keyboard layout to know which key to hit until I get used to it.
