    Hi all
    I've just added a few new VI's to my setup & am now a little worried.
    My entire working system is now based around VSL so what happens if I drop my vienna key in a puddle?
    I should explain my studio is a 20 miles away from my home where I have the VSL Library duplicated so I can work from home, the Vienna key dongle lives on my Studio keyring.
    If I lose or damage the dongle I can't work.
    What would happen in such an instance?

    hehe, carefully drag it out of the puddle and put it on a warm and dry place untill all moisture disappeared - i recommend to not use a microwave for this task ...

    seriously: assuming your hard- and software is insured this should basically be no problem. you can get another ViennaKey with demo starts and VSL will make sure you can continue to work with a replacement key.
    in case the key is irretrievably dead you can receive replacement licenses depending on the circumstances of loss (physical damage, theft, ect) with more or less official paperwork (police or insurance notification, ect) for a handling fee (height also depending on circumstances)
