  • trill AUTO?

I've asked about this before, but don't remember getting a reply: any chance of getting a trill_AUTO patch, kind of like the Solo Strings trem_AUTO - i.e., optimized for legato playback? I know this sounds weird, but I often find the releases too long in any context where the trill is followed immediately by another note - if there's a rest after the trill, it's fine, of course. I realize I can turn off releases globally, but it's kind of overkill to have to do this for a single patch.

  • Best solution is to switch the release samples ON/OFF on the fly.
This example is one of the major reasons we've implemented the Releasesample ON/OFF feature.

  • Sure, fair enough. It's an extra step to do this in Sibelius, but not a major one.

  • Herb do you know where the strings major and minor 3rd trills are in the VI editions ?

    Thanks

  • You should find them in the "Trermolo and Trills" folder.
