    I'm just wondering what velocity this patch is adding? A louder velocity or a softer one?

    Because man, using only this patch with nothing else sounds VERY expressive.

    Well I have to say it's a big difference in expression. I'm not sure if the App preset loads this or not. But if not, those who have app strings should try the vel4 patch.

    In my matrices-- 1A is the 4lev patch for App. Strings. There's something "similar" in Orch Strings as well, and this stands as an equivalent patch in those matrices for me. They get the most mileage right out of the gate because the deliver so much with so little effort.

    That's very true because when I attempted to layer some solo/chamber strings it tended to ruin the sound. Much less effort for the right "epic" sound.
