    Hello,

    I am looking for some orientation concerning the Special Edition of the Vienna Instruments:

    Are there any fast-legato-patches?

    Concerning the Strings:
    Are there any legato-patches that crossfade into looped sustained notes?

    Hello Sebastian,

    there are no fast legato patches in the Special Edition,
    but there are looped sustain performance legato patches for strings and wind instruments (except solo strings)

    thanks for your answer.

    Oh man, just add those fast legato patches, keep the price and you'll probably see me spending money again on your products - and that does mean something after the pain I went through when realizing the library I paid for Euro 3.000 (the VSL First Edition) didn't contain any looped sample at all [*-)]

    I agree that it would be cool to have a 2nd special edition that offers some more stuff for a higher proce tag, but still less than the standard edition of the bigger libraries.

    Fast legato would be cool.
    Repetitions would be my next favorite item.
    And spiccato would be veeeeeery nice.

    I'm sure there is a market for yet another in-between level, even for every single collection.

    e.g. Chamber Strings Intermediate Edition for €230, offering more than what's included in the Special edition, but less than the Standard edition of the big brother.
