Instructional DVD for VI?

Hi

Well I have just ordered my Vienna intruments from sweetwater!!! They are out of stock of solo strings and so will not ship the rest of the instruments until it comes in, I hate the way they do that!!!!! It didn't say out of stock when I placed the order!!

Sorry getting a little side tracked.

I know there is the videos on the site, but is there a instructional DVD for VI for a complete training on how to use them?

I have never used vienna before and therefore am really new to it, I used to have different articulations in different midi tracks triggering the different types of samples in east west on different midi channels. But I understand that vienna is different, that you load all the articulations into one instance in omni mode.

I was looking for some type of training DVD or manual to take me through this step by step?

simon, sorry to hear about the delay - either sweetwater sells too good or they don't care about vienna, let's find that out ...

however a good starting point to get an oveview about working with Vienna Instruments are our video tutorials - basically the intended approach is to have one midi track per instrument instead of having say 12 for strings only.

Is there a training course manual or DVD that you can buy that goes through using it all step by step? Or is it just the videos on the site? (Which are very good)

not sure now what you would expect from such a training course ... we assume you are basically familiar with your sequencer and know how to insert an instrument using VST or AU.
there is a manual explaining the interface available in our user area http://vsl.co.at/en-us/68/375/241.vsl - you just need to register (if not already) as new user. the pdf is then accessible for download even if you don't have any products to register.
