I'd suggest vienna special edition.

Unless you're doing Barry White, I think you probably want small sections for disco - the Chamber Strings.
Smart Violins, a collection of disco licks (bends, runs, etc.) would make a great add-on.

Thank you both for your answer, both answer are different [:)]
I would like actually some strings like the Jamiroquai - Runaway or Cosmic Girl songs, for you to get an idea where i wanna go.
I'm not very sure if they are 14 players or 5 or 6...
Any word ? [:D]

I did listen to the two Jamiroquai songs.
I think it is an Oberheim synth, and an ELKA Rhapsody keyboard.

I think Sebastien doesn't mean the synths, there ARE real strings in Jamiroquai songs. I think they are rather small string sections.

Absolutly real strings, i never put strings in my track as i defently hate when it doesn't sound natural, you can still make some good/ok arrangement with synthetizer, but it will still sound fake in the end of the day. Thats why my choice goes to VSL as its by far the best result i ever heard (if well done)

2x for Smart Violins and Chamber Strings.
In fact I was just thinking how well those disco licks would work if REX'd so I could use them in Stylus.

The String runs in Orch 1+II are perfect for disco (as well as all the other articulations.)
Sure, but that's one lick. If you check out the SV demos you'll see what Clark and I are talking about.
