    Hello

    I am a new user of the Special Edition library and am having a problem with the VI recognizing the key/license. The Syncrosoft License Control Utility recognizes the dongle and 'sees' the vsl license, but when I start-up either the standalone or AU version of the software I am told by said software that either there are no licenses and/or there is a problem with the usb port. With regards to the usb ports, all have been tried and all are not seen by the vsl software but are seen by the Syncrosoft Utility.

    Any Suggestions

    Mac G5, 10.4.8
    Logic Pro dongle/ Waves iLok Dongle
    Powercore MK I & MK II, RME Multiface

    Hi and welcome Krysztof,

    just checking which version of the Syncrosoft LCC you are using....

    in case you´re not sure, please install the latest LCC from here

    It is important to connect the Vienna Key directly to your computer!

    Maybe that helps. Also, the full error message might be helpful for us to find out what´s going on!

    Well I went with my intuition and reinstalled the VSL software and now all is well. As a point of reference, both the syncrosoft and VSL sofware were the most recent versions, so....? A mystery I suspect.
