Latest player update hoses sustain

I've just updated to the latest player and I've found that sustain no longer works all the time. I used to leave gaps in legato lines and use the sustain to cover them, but this no longer seems to work. Please could someone else check this for me, so that I can rule out VSL player as being the problem. Strangely enough if I depress the sustain pedal before playing the note it works, but if I depress it after the note it doesn't.

Obviously it must work on the Piano, or someone would have complained before now...!

OK, I've now had a reply. The situation as I understand it is:

Sustain no longer works in the same way with player 1.1 due to a bug, and can no longer be used for covering gaps between notes. Therefore the advice is (if you need this feature) to roll back to a previous version until the next update of the player.

One thing to note; SE only works with the new player, so users of this Collection can't use sustain. [:(]

Just to be clear on this, you're referring to the sustain pedal, right? At first read I thought you were talking about sustain (ie long note) samples. Presumably the problem only applies to the monophonic performance legato (and perf trill) patches?

Yes, this is only a problem with monophonic instruments, such as legato or FaAuto patches.
