VI on new partition: Libraries are not found by VI

I hope, this is not one of the OS 10.4.9 - problems, I read about:

I installed my music-partition and VI on a new disc. The library also went to another HD.
Even after running the directory manager the patches are not found if I open VI.

Do I need to move anything to the library/audio/plug-Ins folder or other folders? I recognized that there is a folder called "Viennainstruments.component", but I think this was put there before I changed my system-partition and the library-disc.

I also ran the ViennaInstrumentsSoftwareOSX-1.11-ppc again. No solution.

just one thought: have you added data locations using drag&drop as recommended in the directory manager video? please be aware that *add folder* does not cycle through subdirectories, whereas drag&drop does.

for security please just make sure your custom data folder (location can be seen in DM) has permissions set to read&write for the logged-in user

ps: reboot or log-off/logon after adding folders might also be a good idea to make sure everything is re-read
