    I have tried searching for this but the search mechanism does not seem to be working. What VST rack is good to use for an externally sequenced mac mini?

    So nobody does this? I am trying to find something as good as Forte on a PC. Is there anything?

    thanks Paul, I know this is an obvious question but I am only starting to investigate using these as an extension of a PC setup so am clueless about software.

    Look into Steinbergs V-Stack. It's a little long in the tooth however. It runs on Mac or PC. I think Plogue (which avoids the need for audio interfaces between the computers) introduces some serious latency but it's only a quick thought.

    Any member here able to recommend a person or company that can customize a mini solely as a slave for us PT users that know how to integrate RAX or Plogue Bidule? Seems too complicated for us musicians who only want to do music mainly.... not a computer guru... Even a "Plogue Bidule for Dummies" guide will be great!

    RAX has been discontinued, along with Wormhole 2.

    Hey William,

    Let me put in a *big* vote for Bidule. It's efficient, extremely stable, and allows lots of clever little tricks, once you get into it. Very clever software, IMO.
