    Hi,

    Just installed Brass II, and used Directory Manager to rescan. The new sounds show up in the Standalone. However, when I open DP 5.11 and instantiate a VI, those same sounds are not available (my custom presets appear but not the factory presets, matrices, or patches - when I load one of my presets, no sound comes out). I'm working on an Intel Mac 3Ghz dual, 9 GB RAM, OS 10.4.8.

    Can anyone advise?

    you might have had something open preventing the plugin to re-read the added instruments - have you rebooted to make sure everything is re-read?
