    I just had to write my appreciation for the new sounds put out by VSL - I installed the Appassionata Strings and they are fantastic. A truly rich, beautiful, warm string sound. Nothing else is as good at capturing the sonority of the strings in expressive sound.

    The Saxophones are equally great as the other VSL woodwinds, which are renowned as the best in existence.

    And the Pipe Organ - every single pipe recorded?! That is incredible with this huge instrument, and I am sitting at my keyboard in a hypnotic state just listening to how this massive sound is now right in my studio! The depth and complexity of these tones pull you into them. I honestly feel a great composer could spend a lifetime using just these libraries to create music. This is really an ongoing revolution... o.k., sorry to gush about it but this is exciting!

    Couldn't agree more William. The 'stand-outs' coming up will be 'special brass' (especially the trmpts as a counter balance to the 'epic horns' and the new d'amore oboe.)

    Wish I had those two titles today.

    I'm looking forward to getting the App Strings. Unfortunately I'm broke ATM, having just paid the tax bill. Oops, I've just noticed my post count. Yes, OK I'll try to get a life as well. [:O]ops:

    Yea DG works 14 hours/day and then posts for the other 10 hours [[;)]] .


    Of course, I have been the beneficiary to this insane behavior as he has helped me out more than one jam - keeping me from looking like too much of an idiot in front of my clients!!!! [:P]
