  • QUESTION ABOUT SOLO VIOLIN

Can the Solo Violin be programmed to sound "Country Fiddle" style, or are there specific sample variations available that are "Fiddle"sound specific? Just curious.

The extended version of VI Solo Violin does have a set of non-vibrato samples that will help you significantly, together with abuse of portamento and zigane, you could mimic a number of features; you could also use a few DAW filters to detune notes and so on. However the library wouldn't properly represent the retuned strings that are commonly used in many "Country Fiddle" styles, which would make some of the "ground note" riffs difficult to sound anywhere near the same.
