  • Harp Glissandi

    Dear All,
it's possible to know the first and last note for Harp glissandi ?
I think is very useful .
    Many thanks in advance.

  • Good question! Could it be... more easy!
    Anton, I'm with you.

  • hehe, I wish I new, when I wrote Sakura for harp and orchestra I had to figure that out by ear, and there were a lot of gisses.... [:'(]

But I even doubt the harpist who did the recording would know the last note.

That's it! ...a little bit "annoying" if you're... late! [H]

(edit: Who knows? Perhaps he knows the first one! ...at least! :lol[:)]

  • Glissandi note petition [:D]

  • It is annoying... but for more accuracy I would sometimes add the last note with "normal harp" to fall on the beat say, nobody could tell the difference if it's done cleverly.

  • I completely agree with you... but, to be clear, I'm not criticizeing the VI glissandi... I'm just asking (please) for a "little reference-guide" to read, and be more quick, about what kind a glissando I will play hitting that note...

    Sorry for my english...

    Cheers.

  • Agree, it is time consuming.
