Hi all,
I am still quite new to VSL, but I have been running it quite successfully on a PC using V-sTack as a VST host.
Now I have just migrated to a brand new MacPro, 2.66GHz, 4GB Ram, OSX 10.4.8, and I can't start any VI in Logic as an AU or in V-Stack as a VST. In fact, I cannot
even find the folder where the AU plugin would be installed. I can find the VST folder alright, but V-Stack can't, even though I have copied the VST component from Vienna into V-Stack's own VST plugin folder.
All permissions are set to read/write access, but I just can't figure out why Logic is not able to find the plugin. The AU plugin manager is not listing it either.
I have not yet received the Intel crossgrade for Logic for Apple though, could that be a problem?
The VI installer (1.07b) worked fine and the stand-alone version works too, but no VST or AU. Does 1.07 even include VST support as 1.06 did?
I tried to install 1.06PPC but to no avail.
Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
