Hi Paul,
Ok, obviously one or more files involved are corrupted for some reason.
This is why I´d like to ask you to go through the whole following routine one last time step by step, in order to rule things out.
1. Please find and erase the License Control Center, the Vienna Instruments Directory Manager, the Vienna Instruments Library Installer and the Vienna Instruments Standalone from your Applications folder, as well as ViennaInstruments.component and ViennaInstrument.vst from Library/Audio/Plug-ins. To be sure everything is really wiped out clean, please also delete the following receipts:
/Library/Receipts/LCC.pkg
/Library/Receipts/NOS.pkg
/Library/Receipts/POS.pkg
2. Empty Trash and restart your computer.
3. Then please download once more "Vienna Instruments Software Installer OS X PPC 1.06b (AU & VST Version)" from
http://www.vsl.co.at/en-us/68/375/239.vsl and License Control Center v.5.0.8.1 from http://www.syncrosoft.com/
4. Run both installers and restart your computer.
5. Now please launch License Control Center to see if all your licenses show up.
6. If they do, please launch Vienna Instruments Directory Manager and add only one folder from your Vienna Instruments collection, say the Violas, and be sure a Custom Matrix Folder is properly set.
7. Quit Directory Manager and launch Vienna Instruments standalone.
8. If the Violas show up in Vienna Instruments, please quit the application and keep adding the folders in Directory Manager one by one, always quitting before you launch Vienna Instruments to check if they show - please remember that Directory Manager and Vienna Instruments are not allowed to run at the same time!!
If your licenses still do not show in Vienna Instruments, we will have to involve Syncrosoft in order to solve the problem, because we do not have access of any sort to their licensing procedure.
If this turns out to be necessary, I´ll have to ask you to send me two files.
First I will need your System Profile - please select "About this Mac" from your Apple Menu and click on "More Info..." to open the System Profiler. When everything is loaded, please save the profile through File/Save as... - it contains necessary information about your setup for troubleshooting.
Next please launch License Control Center. Under Help/Support/ in the main menu, please select "Save support file..." to store the file.
Please zip or stuff the two files and send them to
m.veenenbos@vsl.co.at.
Please accept my apologies for all this hassle, we are trying to solve your problem as fast as possible!!
Best, Marnix
