I want to be able to play the VIs at the same time as the Pro edition. Because the range of the Tuba VI (assuming it's the same as the Pro Edition) is not high enough or low enough. Therefore with the pro edition I would have to use stretched samples in Gigastudio.
It gets more complicated.
All midi data will come from Sibelius and this works well via Maple into a VI hosted in V-Stack.
I understand that the new GigaStudio VI can also be hosted in V-Stack.
So if I have a sibelius score with several staves. Will I be able to direct some staves to trigger the VSL VIs and other staves to trigger Po Ed samples loaded into the GigaStudio VI?
Does that make sense or am I barking mad?
PS I need a tuba with the range G0 to Bb4 (possibly higher) and a Euphonium with a very similar range but a fifth higher hence the need to stretch the VSL range.
