  • Frizzell-Wiedmann Logic Environment

    Hey Everybody -
    Use this link

    http://web.mac.com/frederikwiedmann/iWeb/Logic%20VI/Logic-VI.html

to download our Logic environment, that demonstrates our usage of Logic's Score page as well as the Vienna Instruments in a very cool way. The requirements for this demo is Logic Pro 7.1 (or later) and Vienna Instruments Strings 1 Library (Standard and extended). If you have all that, just download the file and hit play.
If you find any improvements to this system. please let us know! we are anxious for new ideas!

    Hope you enjoy this.

  • Hi Freddie,

what a great idea to use a text style fader instead of keyswitches!!!
    Thanks for sharing it.
The environment to me, not being an environment-wizzard with all those filters and meta knobs is pretty complex. ItĀ“ll take some time to analyse and adapt it. (thatĀ“s probably why you havenĀ“t received any feedback from the forum yet, har har!)
An Improvement could be: to have a big visible knob to switch velocitiy x-fade on/off. (I do it with my master keyboard)

    Thanks again

  • Hey

we do not use text faders for the switching of cells. the text is just a reference so that you know what yu are listening to. the cells actually get switched with MIDI channels. if you change a MIDI channel, a different cell gets triggered. and depending on what kind of patch you trigger (sustaining or short), the velocity crossfade gets switched on/off automatically. so no need for a fader on your keyboard [;)] it happens in the system.

let me kn ow if you have any more questions.

  • Hey
I have to correct myself, we DO use text faders to switch cells, but the big concept is to chnage them via MIDI channles, The text faders help for finding the correct patches.
