    Hi VSL

    Been playing round with Ableton Live 5.2.1 demo and VI and found a very strange bug. The VI window doesn't update itself correctly in Live. i.e. the bit where you can see each patch is not updated when you change patch within the matrix, and sometimes doesn't even redraw correctly when changing screens (e.g. Preset/Control Edit/Perform).

    The VI works fine in standalone or Cubase SX so I'm guessing it's a issue with Live, although it seems a little odd.

    Any clues?

    Hi Tim,

    I did some short tests with the VI in Live, it worked fine then.

    I will look into it asap, didnĀ“t really expect anyone to incorporate the VIĀ“s in his Live setup. But then again: Why not? [:D]

    Live's pretty good and the VIs give me some interesting performances....

    Thanks for investigating, will be interested to see if it's a 1.6 thing. I've not tried Live on Mac yet - it's on my to do so I will see if there is any difference between PC and MAC versions.

    Paul - a quick update. VI works fine as an AU in Live 5.2.1 on MAC OSX. But defintely not with the VST on WinXP.

    It redraws most of the screen, the only bits that aren't updated are the top left display (where you can see the patches and enable xfading).
