    Hello
    I am trying to use Vienna Instruments and Giga Studio 3 on the same PC laptop for live purposes. I am also trying to keep hardware to a minimum so I am using an
    M-Audio USB Minisport (2 in 2 out) as my midi interface.I want to use 2 keyborda on stage. One for Gigastudio 3 and the other for Vienna Instruments. how is the Midi routed in the laptop?

    Can you please reply.I think vienna Instruments was created partly for live applications. Unfortunately I am "under the gun" to perform a show this Sat night (tommorrow) any help is greatly appreciated

    Hello BL,

    the MIDI routing is:

    MIDI IN 1 of your MIDI Interface into our Performance Tool that sends the MIDI Data on to your GS

    MIDI IN 2 of your MIDI interface to trigger the Vienna Instruments

    ...or the other way round.

    I personally wouldn´t go on stage with a setup like this before some serious testing....

    Think about using some host for the Vienna Instruments so that you can use the Vienna Instruments exclusively, that would make things much easier and much more reliable.

    thanks for the reply and info. I ended up just using Gigastudio 3 with the Pro edition library in it for the concert. There was a bit of conflict between Vienna Instruments and GS3. I will see you at your presentation of VI at Audio/Midi.com tomorrow.
