Help! Syncrosoft USB key Crashes Logic

Greetings,

There is some sort of problem between the Synrosoft Licence key and Vienna Instruments and Logic Pro. My VI instrument passed the Audio Unit validation and all my licenses were successfully installed on the Vienna Key (they all show up when i launch the Syncrosoft License control center).

The problem is that when I launch the instrument (in Logic) Logic crashses. The VI Standalone also crashes. It gets to the stage where it says "scanning licenses" and then it freezes.

Here's what I've tried without success:

1. Installed the latest version of Syncrosoft License Control Center

1. Tried installing an older version of syncrosoft License control center but the installer does not allow you to install an older version (even if you remove the old one)

2. Installed the latest version of VI

3. Installed and tried older versions of VI

4. Made sure Logic was updated

Please somebody help me. I've got a deadline and I can't use my Vienna Instruments!

Hi Johan,

You may find it is not actually crashing - first start-up times of the Vienna Instruments can be very long.

Try lanching the Standalone and then waiting 10 minutes to see if it appears.

ps if the stanalone does launch OK launching the VI AU in Logic should take a matter of seconds.

If you have to re-start your computer you will encounter a long first start time again.
