  • Have you used VI Directory Manager to find them?

    DG

  • Yes!First time the message said: "...items have been removed..."
And when I try again the scan button disapear when I click on it! And nothing happens.

  • I fixed it!!
Sorry! I was confused, and this is only because I changed only one character on the HD's name.
Sorry for that, but tank you!!

    Guillaume

  • Glad you've got it fixed.

  • hi ,

i have the same kind of problem after reinstalling my VI solo strings.
I used the VI directory manager to scan the correct path but when i open the intrument , i can't see anything ( patch, matrix,etc...) . I can see the presets but can't select them

    thanks

  • Hi Satanas,

did you delete all folders from the Directory Manager and then add the newly created folders? That should make it work!

And please remember, that these changes in the DM are not effective, when the Vienna Instruments are running, you need to shut them down (as the DM tells the VI what to scan when it starts)!

  • hi Paul,

    thanks for your quick answer.
I tried to to that so many times but...nothing [[:(]]
I can see the solo strings on the left side of the plug but on the right sid of the window...nothing [[:(]] All i can see is "empty preset" " empty matrix" or " no patch"
I can't select the instruments on the left side of the screen.

    thanks for your help

    Hi satanas,

that means that the VI doesn´t see the samples and somehing must be wrong with the assignment in the DM.

Try the following: Restart your computer and delete and reassign the folders again (don´t even start the VI before!!).

This is something I don´t understand, selection of instruments is always on the right side of the screen...

  • The "instruments" on the left side of the screen are actually licences.
