The action is very sloppy on those so it depends on what you are willing to settle for. It has nice control features for real time but VI seems to shine the most by editing after the fact because there are so many available parameters. Almost any keyboard will do with control being done from the sequencer program.
As a keyboard player I couldn't deal with action that is so sub par and would go with a Yamaha or Roland and tweak VI within the sequencing program.
