  • VI 1.06 and V-Stack compatibility.

    Friends, please explain this problem,
After loading in the latest 5 libraries and installing the VI1.06, I launch V-stack. Vstack stops at VI and says it is initializing and starting up. I wait, I wait, I wait. Starting up dialogue leaves and hour glass stays and remains for a time. I re-start the computer and un install 1.06. I load 1.00 VI program. I wait, and then VI finally loads itself into V-stack. NOW, Should I have waited longer for VI 1.06 to load into V-stack? How long.... Sounds are loaded across 2 firewire hard drives. I.00 seems to load faster, however, I guess to be fair, I should un install 1.00 and re- install 1.06 and just wait, and wait, and see if 1.06 loads. All libraries are recognized in both VI1.06 and 1.00. I am running XP and I checked already for the latest V-stack program which is running. Also updated Windows xp. So, what's the wait time on a full VI into V-stack or is there a problem with 1.06?

Another quick question..... The Appassionata Violins..... there is no dialogue detail in the " cell" when you click on a patch or matrix, although everything sounds normal. No detail about the patch in the middle of Vi? Is this because the sounds were downloaded? Where can I obtain an explanation about each patch?

    Great sound!!!

    Thanks for reading

  • Hi... I have no trouble of that kind with 1.06 and V-Stack.

The reason the appasionate violins have no explanation is likely becuase they were a bonus file, and there was no immidiate need for spending time making those texts (just my guess). At some point they may be updated, or some ducumantation will be found. But bare in mind when they were released, VSL were still making an effort to release the 5 last collections.
