VI installation

Hello
I am trying to install the Vienna Instruments software but am being told that the
Syncrosoft License Control Center needs to be installed first. I have already downloaded and got a confirmation that it in fact was successfully installed on my G-5 Mac 2.5 running OS 10.3.9,.I saw in another thread that Vienna Instruments runs only on OS 10.4 Tiger. Yet in the download area on VSL, there are upgrades for older Mac OS. Any help is appreciated.

I just realized that the older Mac OS upgrades were on the Synchrosofts site and not on VSLs. my mistake. Still, any help is appreciated.

I sent an e-mail to Vsl support concerning this issue. Christian, could you please reply. I would like to start using the Vienna I nstruments

Hi Moon,

you need to be on OSX 10.4 or higher to install the Symphonic Cube with the Vienna Instruments.

Did you take a look at our Video Tutorials on Registration and Installation yet?

thanks for the reply. I spoke with ilio support and they said that I could install it on Mac OS 10.3.9 Panther. I have looked at the video as well. I sent another e-mail to VSL support explaining the error window that comes up. For your convenience here it is again. "You cannot install this software on this volume.Please install Syncrosoft License Control Center to this volume before continuing." But if I need OS 10.4 Tiger than I will upgrade.

that´s definitely the case, you need OS X 10.4 to install the Vienna Instruments.

what are the requirements to run it on a PC?

windows XP SP2 (servicepack 2 installed) is recommended more details eg. for orchestral strings I here
